Any1 know the actual reason for this? Just seen it on www.theshots.co.uk and it says no reason!? confused Was looking forward to that 1 cry

The cost of policing the game was far to high and the club could not justify spending that much money for the sake of a pre season friendly.

Yeah, would have cost the club £20,000, because the police wanted riot gear, etc, etc with them.

Rumour is that we may be getting a friendly away with Basingstoke, however, nothing is set in stone.
