Of the top of my head as I noticed Chappie was looking to find one..... I'm not sure if it works for me or not so I'd like some opinions.

Elvins plays for aldershot
He wears the red n blue
and when were playing woking
This is what he'll do

Skin, skin, skin the bastards
Skin, skin, skin the bastards
Skin, skin, skin the bastards
He's aldershot through and through!

Obviously we can alter the team name to suit and some won't work but thoughts on a postcard please biggrin

I like the song Dylan but I just don't think its fitting for the player. After all he's not the type of player that tries to beat other players. He more an old style centre forward that battles up front. Think the song would suit the type of player like Louis Soares or Kirt Hudson. Trouble is their names don't really go with the song......Well Hudson does but it dosn't sound right to me without the Kirt first.....what do you think?

My idea for Elvins is about as basic as football chants get....................

Best I can come up with, any1 else? confused

I agree... the more I look at it the more I dislike it.

Heres something else I knocked up because I was bored, dunno if it would work on the terraces though:

That's my point, it's plain lyrics.... there is no set tune for it to go to which is why I dunno if it would work on the terraces.

I don't know what it would sound like if we all chanted it as it is and I can't think of any kind of tune to put it too that will work.

Just gone through it and it is kinda catchy but I bet it would take time to catch on with the words and the tune I went along to was just a kind of a random one...:)

I actually quite like it and have sort of found a tune to it! It will just be remebering it for another 24 hours!

Yeah I like the lyrics Dylan.....think you've got the start of something there but it just needs a tune and some tweeking......Got a feeling the road trip is gonna be the perfect oppertunity to work on things like this........ We'll have a whole new album by the time we get to Northampton!! biggrin
