Donations for Displays

RBA,

As you know the club has some big games coming up and we are being stretched to our limit financially at present in terms of what we can do for these games.

We realise its just after christmas but would ask for anyone who frequents our board to consider a donation to the group. Any donations will be used in the forthcoming big matches.

I realise the people that visit our forum appreciate how much effort goes into the displays and unfortunately some of you are unable to put the time in making these - If you can do this it would be greatly apprechiated.

No matter how much you can afford we would fully appreciate your assistance and can assure you we will put your money to good use and a spectacular display will follow.

If you would like to donate and require more information or would like to get more involved please PM me or speak to me or another member at a game.number1.gif

I will donate some money if I have any going spare, but 99% of the money I get is spent on going to games, so I rarely have any money for anything else. Although I did spend about £15 of my Xmas money on material, paint, paint brushes etc. for making new things :)

As silly as that may sound at first, it's actually a pretty good idea, remind the club on how much effort is put in to supporting the team and they will respect that, worth a shot In my view.

I personally don't agree with asking the club for money. Club-funded displays would go against everything an ultras group stands for. I would rather we had something a bit smaller but paid for by the group then a big fancy display which wasn't 100% done by the ultras.

I don't think asking the club would help.
I was under the impression, after looking at previous posts, that the club thought the RBA were hooligans. . .
They're not exactly gunna give money to people they believe are hooligans are they?

We wouldn't want to ask the club anyway. As Wob said it goes against nearly everything we stand for as a group. We have a few ways of raising some cash on the go at the moment including the BONUS BALL (HINT HINT ALL) and we are hoping to have a pool tournament in the near future.

However any donations would be greatly welcomed as would any time given!

PM for details headbang.gif

Nakgeela - Come and introduce yourself tomorrow. We'll be in the big stand.

ATID - The same. Come and show your face!

The only way you'll really be frequent within displays and the like, is by introducing yourselfs, and getting into the group properly! So both of you, see you tomorrow biggrin.gif

I recon a lot of money could be raised by going round the East bank with a bucket that is labeled with RBA display's........We raised money this way to pay for Elvis's new drum last season.....Me,Dylan,Frank and Tonesy also raised money for Phyliss Tuckwell this way when we did a sponsored drive. We raised £370 in the buckets over 2 home games.....Not bad for 20 mins spent walking round before the kick-off.
Pool tournement and bonus ball are both good idea's.....Well done Bradley!!! wink

Chappie, if I bring the bucket can you walk around the EB as I seem to be getting busier and busier on a match day.
