I thought a good idea for a regular post would be a review of our RBA away days. A different member could do a write up on here after every away game. I would start the ball rolling myself with yesterdays game, however I travelled up alone and didn't arrive til half time! Anyone out there fancy getting it off and running? Dosn't have to be an essay, just a few highlights of the day, funny moments and what you thought of the ground, ect.
Noz, that weren't Dave falling down; I dont know his name, but all I know I was having a pee and next thing I see is him falling flat on his face with a ton of grass stains to boot and Fatboy giving him a Fireman's Lift back on to our Mintybus!
New Meadow was nice; needs a bit more terracing for me, but what do you expect from all-seater rotten stadia like that?? Game was a case of Shrewsbury taking their chances and we didnt. Simple as that.
Other Memories were parking in Asda, then Chivvy and I dragging Fatboy's Suitcase (and his pies were in there I think(!!)considering the weight of it!) a mile to the ground, meaning we didnt actually get in the ground til 3.05pm.
Oh yeah, and Karl and I taking the piss out of Gary Glitter all the way up there and all the way back.
