notts county 2 aldershot 1....... but what a game the ball back and folward on your toes the whole game . but im a bit disillusioned with the rba . i always thought that the rba where the 12th man for aldershot with are joyfull songs are chearing and coulerful outlook and even when we are looseing we normally sing are hearts out for the shot and when we do the shot battle harder and harder ...... but on this sunny day are voices couldnt be heard it seamed as if we had given up on the shots . everytime a phew of us tried to get us singing it died in seconds. by 20 mins into the 2nd half my heart was dieing and i thought we are getting like the north stand boreing.( I AM SORRY IF I AFFENDED ENYONE WHEN I COULD YOU ALL BOREING ****S) i just thought if the 12th man us got behind are team as we always do we wuold of held on to a draw. we are in a new league with a young team we are doing well lets keep singing our hearts out home and away. lets not let are team down and thay want let us down........I APOLEGISE TO ALL RBA MEMBERS FOR MY OUTBURST.
imo i think the vocals and the dislpay were great , no the singing wasnt constant , but after the comment baz made about how pleased the notts fans were with the tribute and singing we couldnt of been that quiet .
thought the streamers were great even thou i was threatened by the old bill twice for it , still think we should do it again , and maybe a safer option would be the crepe streamers you can get specially the multicoloured ones ..i.e red and blue ..!!
Well personally I thought you were out of order Keith. I agree we were unusually quiet yesterday but to have a go at everyone the way you did was not the way to go about it. We are a group that are in this together so we should encourage people to sing, not threaten. I know I'm a fine one to talk as I get aggressive myself but I never aim it at fellow supporters, just the ref! Maybe you should think about drinking less on away days?
Our end wasn't at it's loudest on Saturday and Keith was trying to get everyone going. Ok, he could have gone about it better, but I think it gave some people the kick up the arse they needed and as a result it was louder than it would have been.
Like I said, he could have gone about it better than calling everyone a bunch of ****s, but I think his heart was in the right place. I'd rather have people like Keith at games who want to create atmosphere, stand, sing, support the team and get others going too than all the old people who just sit down and moan all game.
He may have offended people, but it's the first time I've ever seen him say something like that. Every other week he is going around the East Bank encouraging people to sing to spur the team on.
Keep it up mate, but perhaps think before calling everyone ****s next time...
CHAPPIE YOU ARE BANG OUT I DIDNT THREATEN ENYONE I JUST COULD YOU A BUNTCH OF ****S SO BE CAREFUL HOW YOU WORD THING .IF IVE AFENDED YOU THAT MUTCH I WILL LEAVE THE RBA . BUT WHAT I WONT DO IS LEAVE MY ALDERSHOT TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB IL JUST STAND APART FROM YOU AND CHEAR THE SHOTS ON.
PS . AND YOU CANT TALK CHAPPIE ABOUT WAY TO TALK TO PEOPLE THINK BACK TO WHEN EVERYONE LEFT COACH SAT NIGHT AND THE WAY YOU SHOUTED AT EVERYONE TO GET BACK TO THE F...ING COACH TO CLEAN IT UP. AT LEAST I ADMIT WEN IM OUT OF ORDER AND APOLIGISE PUBLICLEY.
I wasn't there yesterday, Keith you sound like your all up for like starting to get overyone to sing which is defo what we want people to do ... just tone it down abit ..
We wern't even that bad yesterday, when we are losing/under pressure I think it's natural we aren't going to be loud, its a fact, something we can't really change.
To be fair I rarely even sing that much, although not being the loudest it isn't really noticeable, but I somehow found myself participating in every song.
I think this threads on the wrong note, If anything we should be proud of our support yesterday.

SO THAT GIVE HIM THE RIGHT TO TALK TO PEAPLE LIKE THAT. IM BANG OUT OF ORDER I KNOW SO IS HE BUT IF THERE ONE RULE FOR ONE ONE FOR ANOTHER THEN I DONT WANT ENYMORE TO DO WITH RBA.

Not quite, walking past the toilet on the coach to see the amount of mess was embaressing on behalf of the group, "takes years to build a reputation, seconds to destroy it" comes to mind.
Chappie called people back and rightly in an aggresive tone, it was disgusting.
You swore at people becuase they wern't singing.
Slight diference.
Chappie should not need to publicly apologise, what he did was right.

in the past chappie has been slagged off for his abuse and language at games and he held his hands up to be being wrong . even i get a gobby when i think a wrong doing has been done by the officials . not once has he slagged people of for not singing cause thats pathetic imo . at saturdays game i would say only 30% of the supporters consisted of singing supporters and not all of these were members of the RBA , so surely your apolagises should be on the shotsweb and not here .
regarding the coach issue and his outburst if he hadnt done i would of , the state of the coach was a disgrace , and i didnt see you helping to clean it up , even my daughter collected rubbish on her way out .
so preaching about one rule for one and one for another is a joke keith
Keith was a bit naughty but we he is man enough to say sorry ...fair do's !! Chappie i did not hear you shouting at people as i had legged it but mess should not be left and i might have been on of the culprits im sure as members of the RBA we should be trying to get along !!
Keith - You should have gone about it another way, but fair play you held your hands up and fair play to you for that. Just because you had a little argument with Chappie saying you dont want anything to do with the RBA is a little bit childish. Other people have had little arguments before and not left and some people are not keen on other people but thats life.
Chappie - I got of the coach at the 1st stop along with Fatboy and Tim so i cant really comment on what happend. If the coach was left in the mess then everyone (including myself should hold there hands up) so I hold my hands up now and say sorry to Chappie and anyone else who stayed behind to clean it up.
It was a tip and i was one of the very few people who stayed and helped tidy up - it was a disgrace but highly unfair for it to be left to Chappie to do on his own!
I have just come across this thread and thought i would also post my two cents. Basically i think we should not get too mad at Keith. He went about it the wrong way but he has apologised and it is clear he is a passionate fan which is good to see. Just try to tone down what you call other fans in future though.
As for Chappie, i was not on the coach so i cannot comment, but if it was left in a state then i think he would have every right to tell people to help clean up the mess. The RBA goes to the trouble to ensure we have a fun and enjoyable trip so if you are not going to be tidy then the only other option is to clean the mess you make. Simple.
I don't think you should quit the RBA over something as trivial as this. But if that is what you want to do then that is your choice. I am probably one of the least popular members of the RBA but i would not consider quitting because some people dislike me because the RBA is full of a good bunch of lads (& lasses) and we all share a common goal which is what binds us all together... our love for Aldershot Town Football Club.
I hope this can all be sorted out. Onwards and upwards. Lets all move on.
I went to send a message to Keith, because even though he did call everyone a bunch of ******s, he was man enough to say sorry on this forum... and the one thing i believed since really getting to know people in the RBA is that the RBA is like one big family... and like families, members fight but i always hope that they mend their differences - to cut the long story short - he is not listed as a member on this forum any more which saddens me
If any of you see Keith, please say hello from me and send my regards, but i hope I will get to see him @ the match on Saturday to tell him this myself!
