Absolutely awesome display from the RBA - that is what REAL support is all about. Imagine you are one of the players walking off tonight - what is most likely to get you to turn that ****e performance around? 200 people slagging you off or 200 people singing ''We Love you Aldershot, we do...'' I know what I would put my money on!
Got to agree - I sat down the front and to hear the old 'uns non-stop moaning about how crap we were was really getting on my nerves - as was their moaning about you lot having fun.
There is nothing better than hearing you getting behind the team - no matter how poor they were playing and that new song stuck in my head all the way home... can't remember how it goes this morning though!
The only bad point was the few who decided to hurl foul abuse at their number seven as he was warming down.
What was that about? He was fantastic and tore us apart with his pace - hardly his fault. Banter is one thing, but the abuse he got was just as embarrassing as our performance.
I know - but it gives them something else to moan about.
After taking their frustrations out on the team, they have to moan about something else so people getting behind their team is fair game. The pies would have got it next.
Some old 'un's dont seem to understand that moaning at the players will solve nothing and that if you've made such a long trip, you may as well enjoy yourself.
I agree with all that's been said. It was quite embarrassing when everyone started having a go at their player warming down, especially after what'd been said earlier about not slagging them off, just keeping everything aldershot related, but hey. It has to be said though, our support was brilliant, especially whilst being behind by such a lot. It was a good atmosphere and made for a great night out. Thankyouuu everyoneeee!! :D
Firstly, sorry i couldn't be there last night but i just wanted to say a big well done to the guys that made the journey and sung there hearts out, i have just the below post from someone on the shotsweb message and i think this is brilliant feedback to receive. I know its not going our way at the momnet but lets stick together and keep cheering on the boys like we do, even if 5-1 down. Well done RBA.
'I looked for a diamond too at the match last night and found one. For me it was the RBA. They sang for 95 minutes without a break. What loyalty, what optimism!! If all Shots fans were just a bunch of intermittent clappers and shouters, like me, Id probably not go to Rochdale on Saturday after this defeat, 4th in a row for me. But the RBAs spirit is infectious and Ill be there.'
i have been to a lot of football games, but the aldershot fans have got to be the best ive stood with brilliant support throughout the game great set of fans with some excellent banter
Top marks to everyone involved last night, immensley proud of our support last night. I love the comment on the Chesterfield forum about them being 5-1 up and he could hear moaning around him from their fans, but only singing from us!
I've got some videos of Dale Cavese which I will post up here when they're uploaded.
Last night was one of the best atmospheres I have ever been involved in. See you all at Rochdale.
I am rather proud of my large titties. Pamela Anderson ahd to pay a lot of money for a pair like these. I have been blessed and have got them for free. lol.
