Most Shots see Farnborough as our local rivals. But they are a conference football club and our neighbours. It's terrible to see any club being run into the ground by a predatory chairman who is causing players and staff to leave and breaking the fans hearts.
1990-1992 seems a long time ago but Shots fans who went through that time of pain and uncertainty know exactly what Farnborough are going through now.
For 1 day lets set aside our rivalry with Farnborough and show our support for fellow football fans. If they were a league club they would've had a Fans United day by now because their plight is almost as bad as Wrexham's and Cambridge's.
So for 1 day lets show some solidarity with our Farnborough supporting football fans and let Ron Higgins know that it's not just Farnborough fans who think he should leave but Aldershot fans too.
Lets make our voices as football fans heard and let Higgins know what true football fans think of raiders like him.
