Played in near perfect conditions on a balmy Yorkshire winter morning (cannot figure why the main game was called off!) The RBA (southern) team were 4-0 down at half time, thanks partly to playing with 10 men as the person who had the least distance to travel arrived at half time (Thanks Noz!)
Noz showed why his presence was sorely missed in the first half as the southerners finally adapted to the unusually warm weather and thrashed the northeners 4-1 in a very one sided 2nd half. Unfortunately, due to some local rules made up on the spot (!) it meant that the northerners claimed the trophy as they made the score 5-4 to them Thanks to Sheffield Baz for organizing the game at Worksop's ground which is maybe where Rotherham should consider playing!

Sorry Guys!! but was'nt the first ever rule book written in Sheffield? and their for you should have been aware of our rules !!! . 1 sided second half, thats why i had a pint in goal and as for this 10 man thing! u only had 10 men for 20 mins cos you crippled 1 of ours and had to be carried off ( whats that all about ) anyway Thanks for our trophy back it'll be a long time before you see that again Ha ha 5 - 4, 5 - 4, 5 - 4, 5 - 4
