Not to worry Tom, we'll have about 100 at the most up there I would say, nothing too special. I wouldn't expect many of us, because we aren't playing for much.
I came to Blundell Park on Sat with the Gills (with my BF)... and I am coming with the Shots this weekend (my team!) and we struggled to find a pub near the ground that accepted visiting supporters...
Do you know where is the nearest pub to the ground that does?
Away facilities aren't great BTW but it was a good game!
And I thought your attendance was only so high as you dropped ticket prices for home fans and also made it kids go free... will that be the same this weekend?
They are doing for home fans that if you get the bus for £1 you ill get a free voucher for a £10 or £5 ticket...yeah i totally agree,if these offerswerent on , we'd only have 2,000 plus .... although i go every week , home & away :) ....
Erm usually they let you into the blundell Hotel across the road from our mcdonalds , if not then i guess the closest pubs are down a street called Freeman Street or in our town centre. Some pubs in cleethorpes might let you in too ,( seafront way)....
Yeah our facilities are awful.... and as for the streaker on saturday(well that just ruins the game to be honest) i hate people who do that whenyour trying to cheer on your team....
We cant afford Sky football in the home pub ( very annoying) and they cant afford the kiosks , thats why we have gone to dodgey burger vans....
Hope This Helps you.... I'll be meeting my friends off the coach who are coming from Aldershot :)
Thanks Again Chivvy Enjoy The Game On Saturday

We tried the Blundell Hotel - they had a black board outside stating Home Supporters Only and then we asked a member of bar staff and they turned us away... never mind! We did read that the hotel was for visiting supporters but this was not the case
As for the streaker LOL - you think he would have done it properley rather than just taking his pants off - Stewards were so slow to get to him and he was only at walking pace on the pitch :')
Thanks Tom, I had a pint in the ground which made up for not being able to get to a pub!
We had an incident earlier this month, when a Luton Town fan ran along the front of the East Bank, in front of the Aldershot section, just after Luton had scored.
Our stewards were slow to react that day, in fact they just stood and watched him, I was so annoyed, I approached a Steward, and member of the ATFC Response team at Half Time, and they both blamed it on each other, and the Police.
Perhaps there is confusion among Stewards and Police for whos job it is to deal with the offender? Don't know if you have that problem at Grimsby, if you do, I think it needs to be dealt with ASAP, like I believe ours does.
Basically he ran on , there was about 15 stewards who saw him go on and they just stood there? nearly got all the way ta the AWAY FANS before they decided to move
see you saturday
