We would like to organise a large RBA working party to help with many of the ground maintenance and clearing jobs that still need to be done. You are probably well aware that the club is not flush with cash at the moment and this is a perfect way for us to assist (rather than them having to pay for contractors to come in) we are looking for at least 20 people to assist. It will be 10am to around 2pm
The club has asked if we can make it August 2nd as this is one week before the season opener and there will be plenty of last minute tasks and tidying up jobs to complete. I hope this works for everyone who has already kindly put themselves forward.
as an extra incentive, any RBA member that works the full 4 hours will be entitled to a £5 discount for one away trip of their choice (to be used before the end of September)
Please post below if you are able to help out (obviously it will be easier for some when they know which date!)
Thanks and please don't leave it to everyone else - you are part of the RBA team and 4 hours one Sunday is not asking a lot to help out OUR football club
UP TO 19 VOLUNTEERS NOW - KEEP 'EM COMING!

I'll be there no reason why we couldn't do this regulary if it's a success?!
I helped out abit last season with Dave Green (localshot) and you'd be suprise how long it takes to clear the ground after games. If we can get a huge group of us the ground would look spotless in no time at all.
Hi everybody, Paul Blundell here. What a great idea lads and lasses. I am willing to supply a barby, food and soft drinks, at my expense, to everybody who comes and does some work. Burgers, sausages in rolls will be on the menu, if you want anything more, bring it and i'll cook it for you. I will be assisted by my son Elliott, but unfortunatly Ben has to work. Give me the o.k if you would like this to happen, as i don't know exactly who started this thread.
Sorry people, i can't do Aug 2. I have a very important memorial fishing match, and there's no way i can miss it. If this becomes a regular event, then perhaps i can do the food on the next one, sorry, Paul Blundell.
i dont think i can makke it now, i cant get down to the ground from church crookham, if someone could give me a lift that would be wicked. if someone can give me a lift, give me a text on: 07765037682
