I know most people won't think it is worth it as its only a pre season and means nothing, but isit worth just taking even a little bass drum tomorrow? When my school got to the district cup final which was played at the Farnborough ground, about 50 lads from my year went in the away stand with a luttle drum and created an eastbank-like atmosphere and it was great to see and hear. I just thought it might be worth bringing up to give a good account of ourselves to the new farnborough club? Probably a bad idea but just a thought ...
but hacker, i like your idea. A few people on here will probably think 'no' or 'pointless' or 'would be ****' but it would certainly have been a good atmos, and got behind our team. Definitely not pointless though! pre season means virtually nothing but, all the same, its still a competitive match for the players and they will want all the support they can get :) Also maybe because im a drummer, a few guys on here may think im saying this just so i can make a bit of noise!
i do remember in the 07/08 pre season we took drums to a couple of games and it was actually a fair turnout and a good atmosphere.
Im away from monday until the Darlo game but, if the vast majority say on here that they fancy a drum for the brentford game saturday then i might oblige. . .??
Yes bring your drum Tim. It sounded ok tonight and with the way the team are playing at the moment they need all the support they can get! Give it a dust down mate
