It was dire today but it is most of the time. We should change the chant to "we only sing when we're winning" which is true of us. And the trumpet player only plays for about 1 minute out of the 90 max. And doesn't he get in free or something? Heck if being in the band gets you in free to play the trumpet for a minute i'll do it. It was laughable our whole ground was outsung by a small group of Shots fans.

Looks like all those shots fans who attended done themselves proud!

We sung for 90 minutes in what I suppose in retrospect is just another cr8p game up north, which I didn't expect. Had a great laugh mind! AND 3 POINTS!

It was a great day and good win.  I have to admit I was shocked at how quiet grimsby were.  Their supporter summed it up perfectly.

Can't wait till crewe!

I agree, it was a really good atmosphere yesterday. There wasn't many there, but when everyone sings for 90 minutes we can still make a right racket!

Another thing I noticed was that 99% of the songs were purely support for the team, and not trying to bait the opposition which made it all the more better - Long may it continue. smile

Great day yesterday.  At one point Fatboy said that it didn't matter where anyone sat, cos he didn't expect any atmosphere?  I think we done ourselves proud.
