Chester City FC; RIP

This could be the first of many clubs to go to the wall.

They were wound-up today owing £26,125 to HMRC, and now face a very bleak future.
Something which we know about rather too well sadly.

Discuss.

Very sad.
When I did the tour around the 92 FL clubs, Chester City were one of the most welcoming clubs we visited. They took us on a tour of the ground and gave us various items from their club shop as souveniers.
Also on my visits there as an away fan, I found their stewards the friendliest I've ever come across.

RIP cry

Shame, I never got to go to the Deva Stadium. If I do want to catch a game, it looks like I might have to watch a Welsh Premier League game :(
