A message for shots web says that Port Vale have said no drums are to be aloud in the away section of the ground at the tour of duty. Just another club who are crapping themselves about our superb away support and the only way to stop the noise is to impose bans on some of our tools. I just wish the rules were the same at every ground so we knew where we stand.
We've had a few drums at VP this season. Barnet definately had one cause they were banging the bloody thing all game. If I was you i'd bring one anyway and just try and get it in. If not you can just stick it back on the coach.
Can't be doing with drums myself, you conna beat good old chanting. But then again if your only bringing 600 odd then you may need a drum to make yourselves heard!
Don't worry Valeman - you will hear us loud and clear on Saturday. You may want to get some annadin in - just in case - as you won't be used to loud noise at VP!!!
Nice to see you guys making an effort, if you bring 600 that will be excellent compared to your average home supprt.
Cant see an issue with drums myself, try to get one in you may be OK.
Best local drinking venue is head downhill away from the away end, about 300 yards on the left is the Vine ( next to the local police station ) and welcomes away fans.
Local food, in town KFC, butty shopes etc. Or try our local delicacy the Oatcake, go uphill from the away end about 300 yards on left.
