A Company

Hi, i am a serving soldier in Aldershot, and in the past have had runnings with a group calling themselves "A Company". Are these guys connected to the RBA, or are you one and the same? Oh by the way i am on the Eastbank at every home match and support Aldershot...........COME ON THE SHOTS.

Nice 1st post Badwookie.

The answer to your question is NO - were not associated with the A Company in any form. Someone will be along shortly to explain to you the difference between ourselves and the A Company.

Meantime welcome to the RBA Forum and keep on cheering for the shots! smile

Im really happy to hear that, as the "A Company" are a bunch of idiots that pick on soldiers in town at the weekend. Im an Millitary Policeman so along side the Hampshire Police, have to deal with these idiots every weekend. I then stand on the same terrace as them (so far undetected as im with my 2 kids). Its a shame that every football team has these ****s in their ranks. But it dosnt stop me from standing on the Eastbank every home match behind the goal, loosing my voice.

COME ON THE SHOTS

Good to see you support the Shots! The A Company are a real scourge of Aldershot Town Football Club and are in no way connected to the RBA. They give the club a bad name at away games and I thought they had all been banned from the Rec, I didn't know they still came to home games.

They are the reason I think Kevin Dillon won't get his dream preseason friendly of Aldershot Town v Reading because of the run ins that the A Company used to have with them in the past.

The RBA are the decent supporters who want to create a colourful and noisy atmosphere at games, not a nasty atmosphere taunting the away fans being a pain and bringing the clubs reputation down and costing the club a load of money in policing.

This is all very welcome news, im sure ive seen a couple of them on the Eastbank, but mostly they are down town on a weekend bragging how big they are. Since ive been in Aldershot i havnt missed a home Game, and dont intend to miss one for the next 2 seasons. Im easy to spot, i wear an Iron Maiden Hat and every time we score a goal, i have one of my young sons on my shoulders, and im there with them every home match behind the goal just in front of the drum.

The avatar here is my 2 sons with Bobby Hopkinson.......top lad.

See you all at the Rotherham match.......

COME ON THE SHOTS.....
