Do the RBA have a regular pub that you use? Or do you use the bars inside the ground. I was asking so i can meet up and have a beer with like minded folk. Im not a stalker......lol
aha.. ill help you :) there are loads of pubs around that are local to the ground.. the nearest one is across the road called the crimea or la fontaine at the top of redan road( by the park) im not sure becasue i dont drink in any but they are the ones close to the ground. Hope this has helped :)
Its a real shame that the Black Bull is going. There was plenty of room inside there, unlike the social club and Wally's. Redevelopment of the High Street End could be the only answer to having a decent bar and club shop under a stand down that end. Theres plenty of room behind the goal for a stand and a club shop and bar down there would be fantastic. Shame it'll never happen though, unless we get promoted and get real investment.

Practically, it would make sense. Especially with lots of local(ish) teams in League One, such as Southampton, Bournemouth (who sold out their away allocation this season and last!), Brentford, Brighton, Leyton Orient and possibly Swindon, Charlton and Millwall if they stay down. And Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds would bring 2,000 easily. We'd sell out, no problem.
However we could always be in League Two next season (I'm praying we aren't!) and all this could be wishful thinking, but it would be nice to know if there's a plan in place.

Under the railway bridge and on the left hand side (after about five minutes walk - about level with the end of Manor Park I think).
Hear it's very friendly, good beer and food (also run by an ex-Shot).
Not been there myself as I have to drive to games, but will try it one day!
Isn't there a bar at Provost Bks - I spent four weeks there with 163(v) Pro Coy about 12 years ago and could have sworn I got pissed a few times!!?!!
Im based at Provost Bks, and yes there are 2 bars, but you have to be a member of either the Cpls Mess or Sgts Mess to use them. Never seen em used on matchdays though.
