You will all be happy to know that the legend who is Ryan Scott has just signed a new contract, which will see him at the rec until the 2006/2007 season.
Just because you dont like him Shearer!! Lol and according to Matt this classes as talking **** as were talking about Atldershot Town on this part of the website.
I've got nothing against Ryan Scott at all...infact he has done tremendously well this season considering the injuries etc...! However cut the bull**** he will not be a 1st team member when Watson is fit! Dave Lee (who in my opinion is our best midfielder) will be bk next season..So Ryan is having a very good run out in the team at the moment, but in my opinion I believe he wont do much for us to be honest and will possibly be elsewhere come next season?!
With regards to 'Legends' - I'll just explain what a real legend is for those who don't know....Lets try...Jason Chewins, Butler, Abbo, Warbs!

Why not?! It's not like Holloway is setting the world alight at the moment, so I see no reason why he couldn't keep his first team place.

True, he's not in the same category as those guys at the moment. But there's no doubt that at only 18, he has the potential to be another Butler, by that I mean going from watching from the East Bank to scoring in front of it!
Ok..I watched the Footie yesterday (as we all did) and I was very dissapointed with the performance in my opinion! However (Luke ATFC) I kept a close eye on a certain 'Mr Scott' and he was certainly the best playing for us yesterday in my opinion!
With regards to my comments about him they're all my personal opinions and the same in that your comments are your personal feelings...However I still believe that when TB has a complete fit midfield, that RS will be simply used as a back up player! You're quite right in that Holloway has been ****e recently but I still believe what he offers for the team is such that you cant afford to drop him IMPO.
He's been offered an extended contract and extremelly deserved it! However If like I feel he will be soon dropped back to the bench it's a question if weather he wants to sit on the bench for the season...and only playing 5minutes here and 10minutes there! I just feel that he could be a possibly be going down the same road as Ty Smith?!
I know RS vaguely (spelling) and He neved watched Aldershot from the Terraces - He may have been to the odd game but never week in week out!
Ryan is a young professional and I wish him all the best in making a good career...

Fair point about Ryan maybe heading down the same route as Ty did, although IMO he's played far better for us this season than Ty did last season.
As for him never watching from the terraces...that's only what I read in the programme! Mind you if it's in the programme I suppose it's bound to be wrong!
