Cornish Grecian: See for yourself. This is what you said:
"Correct me if im wrong but the attendance was roughly 3100. Over 1000 of them were Exeter fans. That would leave about 1800-2000 Alder**** fans. Pretty poor attendance for a supposedly "well supported" Conference club."
I think not. A statement put out by Aldershot Town Football Club:
"The Club have carried out a full review of the attendance figure announced for the Exeter City Home Match on Monday 2nd January 2006.
Further to this review the Club can confirm the Offiicial Attendance was 3,271. The extra Supporters from the original announcement were from Exeter City who gained entry via the Redan Hill Entrance. A total amount of 804 Supporters were from Exeter City Football Club."
So that would leave 2467 Alder**** fans, apparently.
Congratulations, thats a really high attendance. Ive only ever been to one Exeter game with a lower attendance then that was when we "squad rotated" for an LDV Vans South match against Swindon.
Wait a minute...........that game took place the season before the Man Utd FA cup matches.
Either way I said about a thousand, and if your figure of 804 is correct, which I still doubt, that would leave me only 20% out, not bad for a guess, certainly a lot closer than the 350 which was mentioned by a certain Alder**** fan.
Sorry, Grecian how many fans were you getting when you got relegated so many years ago, o sorry I forgot you didn't support Exeter till Man U
Loco, can you not read or are you just thick?
For a start Ill think you will find in the season we got relegated are attendance was around what we get at games now. Some may say that we have "loyal supporter's" or is it "loyal fan's"? I get confused!
And I think you will find in my previous post that I commented on a game at St James Park against Swindon in the LDV Vans Trophy which occured BEFORE the Man Utd FA Cup games which leaves your post innaccurate to say the least.
at least we can fit all your fans in our away end i remember a couple of years ago in the F.A cup that you could not get us all in and shots fans were stuck outside.
at least we can fit all your fans in our away end i remember a couple of years ago in the F.A cup that you could not get us all in and shots fans were stuck outside. THATS POOR MATE
How many times are we going to "bang the drum" about "that FA Cup tie at Exeter"
Shit happens. Deal with it.
If your club had asked how many fans/supporters the ground took for the away club maybe you wouldn't have found yourself in that position.

I am 100% percent sure this is correct and i know this comment is true so don't try telling me it is another lie.
Aldershot Football club told exeter we are expeting to bring at least 2000 fans exeter turned around and said yeh right we have heard it all before.

If I remember correctly Exeter won that game with Steve Flack scoring at the away end?
All your club had to do was ask for the away end capacity. Or is that too difficult for them? Mind you judging by their counting on the 2nd January it may well be.

were you at the game i thought you was obviously you wernt,we done the conga when we 4:0 down and sung through all the game and by the way that was last year all you do is live in the past

Oh, that old chestnut, "that was last year" when in reality it was about 3 weeks ago. Very clever and original.
How long did it take you to think that up?
Did you get a headache after?
Also get some punctuality into your post's somewhere, its difficult to understand what the hell you lot are banging on about sometimes.
And I was talking about directly after JC scored you toot, remember, there was a deftly hush from the away end? No. Oh then again it was last year. You probably can't remember what happens from one year to the next.
You lot do yourself no favours.... the only reason Cornish returns all so often is because you rise to the bait, if everyone simply disregarded everything he ever took the time to type here i'd imagine he'd soon get bored.

Oh yes!!!! i was a victim, i still cry myself to sleep at night .... but nah, you're right in what you say. Not trying to offend anyone but Cornish does seem to have better punctuality/typing skills than half of you which makes it all to easy for him to mock you.
Sometimes it's better to say nothing atall =).
