Pugs mate as you know i am up for going to this game which is against Bristol Rovers at home. I have posted a message on their board about where their signers stand so that we can stand with them and show our respect to Tim Sills.
**I will let you know the price of the stand they stand in as soon as i know about this ok**
HI PUGS, ITS YA OLD GREEN WASTE BUDDY HERE, PAUL BLUNDELL, ME AND BEN WOULD BE UP FOR THAT BUT BEWARE THE BRISTOL AND OXFORD BOYS DONT GET ON AND THEY PROBABLY WONT PARTICULY LIKE ALDERSHOT BOYS THERE SO THINK ABOUT THE PROBLEMS WE COULD ENDURE.
yes i agree paul but thats what we have to put up with but we will be there as oxford fans supporting sillsy so i cant see oxford having a problem and with bristol life goes on lol
Right i have found out where their singers seat and it is the Oxford Mail Stand (behind the goal). The price for this is Adults £16 and Children are £8.50 but if we pre-order the tickets they are £14 and adult and £7.50 Children. Or if your a student and dont look under 16 your have to pay £12 or £11 if pre ordered.
You'll be made more than welcome by the hardy few that arn't staying away (Take a look at our home form of late) You are right Brizzle Rovers do have issues with us, but it is usually restricted to throwing insults. If you want to be among the livelier Us fans then you want to ask for seats from Row V backwards. There is Home rivalry between the left and right side of the Oxford mail stand, Still known as the London Road to us "old boys" in rememberance of our old stadium the Manor Ground. I'm a left sider and the left side tend to sing more.
My names Lez, you'll see my flag a George cross with OUFC in the Quaters and Lez N Kids across the Middle Me Kid 1 and Kid 2 sit in V50-52 do come say "hi"
Do keep an eye out for ticket details on our web site as it may be all ticket, but this may be for away fans only. A phone call to the office may be in order explaining who you are and why you're comming, they can be a little sensitive to "foregners" at Bristol Rovers matches.
We look forward to welcoming you and hopefully seeing the quality of your man Sills.
Is there a history behind the "Feed the Sills" chant? I've probably missed somethng sorry.
if you have good wingers that can croos a ball to the strikers sillsy will finish it he is an amazing headerer of the ball and he can finish with his feet as well treat him good and carry on the feed the sills chant cos he will score
Just looked on their messageboard again and it seems we have to sit on the Left hand side of that Stand due to the fact that is where their singers Seat/Stand. Also we have been asked to join in and help them create an atmosphere, (when was the last game we at that didnt have an atmosphere).
Also Judge Jules someone would like to know if Tim Sills is cute?
