From the word "go" the Hawks played the better football and were more determined in the tackle. This game was probably the best overall performance the lads have ever played. They knew what was at stake and everyone rose to the occassion. It had determination, effort, some delightful football and magnificent finishing. This result has guaranteed a top two finish, which is thoroughly deserved and is testament to the work that has been put in. Whichever way the remaining results go you can all be extremely proud of yourselves. The effort shown today makes us on the management team very proud to be associated with you all........ Well Done !!
Well as rushmoor our rivals won 6-0 on sunday against rowledge we are 1 step away from becoming champions. On the other hand I would like to say thanks for pugsly for supporting us away to woodley which ended in a 2-0 loss to a team 4th in league 2.
So know it stands that if rushmoor draw or loose to us or california we are champions if not and they win then we draw top and a play off is decided.

Gents, Firstly congratulations to you all, you made a top 4 team in the League above us look very ordinary.... Even though we were up against some unethical behaviour. Performance wise, we created chances and we were tight when defending. We cannot ask for more than that. Looking forward to next week, we need to perform as we have the last two weeks. The mental attitude from you all needs to be right, as I am sure it will be, and we will come away with the result.
We are playing at our home pitch in Badshot lea behind the park and the green for more instructions ring or e-mail me and thanks for the support pugs loving it.Just a shame more cant come but anyway we are playing rushmoor community harriers to decide the league champions! Pugs we also have AC Crowthorne again very last game of the season in the ash trophey. You watched us last time against these and we came away 8-0 winners.Even though I hit the bar 3 times im afraid I cannot clame any of those .Anyway we play them at home on the 23rd of april which will be very entertaining, like last time!
I would just like to update you on the situation badshot lea hawks came away with a draw against rushmoor community harriers today 0-0 which was enough to crown them 2005-2006 division 3 champions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks and a special thanks for pugs and his bird for the support unfortunately they were nearly the only 2 guests there the rest were parents so thanks for that lads (FATBOY!)

Badshot Lea "Hawks" Rushmoor Community Harriers 0 0 D
Man of match = John Emerson
An excellently fought match between both teams, saw the "Hawks" gain the point they needed to become Champions. The result was all that mattered today so I am not going to highlight any points, positive or negative. We needed a draw at minimum and that is what we got. Well done to all of you who, over the whole season, have shown that you have what it takes to play at the next level. It has been a tough and challenging season with some excellent teams in the League, YOU have finsished TOP!! Be proud of YOUR achievements and look forward to the first silverware earned by the "Hawks".........CHAMPIONIES!!!
Still struggling from flu it was not a game to remember for me as I had a shocker i'm just glad it was only a little attendence but atleast we got the result we needed bring on div 2!
