Farnborough Tournament this year will be on Saturday 6th May.
Chris from Farnborough wants teams to try and be there for 11am.
The squad that I have named for this is as follows:
Tony Roberts Pugsley Steve Mackay Ian Parish (though I haven't had a chance to ask him yet) Simon Gilbert Barry Hindmarsh Wayne Mackay Kev Simms Luke Cottrell Dave Shearer Dennis Keefe Ben Watts Andy Copley Craig Garwood
Could other people please contact as many people off this list as you can and let them know. I can't really talk on the phone at the moment as my throat is all messed up.
Here are the rules and match times:
Rules:
· Matches will be 11-a-side, on a full pitch
· Matches will be 30mins in duration (2 halfs of 15mins with no half time)
· 3 Points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss
· If points level, will be decided on goal difference and then goals scored.
· Any player receiving a red card will miss the next match and pay a £10 fine.
· Any player receiving 2 yellow cards (cumulative) will miss the next match and pay £5 fine.
· There will not be a limit on the number of substitutes on the bench but a maximum of 4 substitutions in a game
· In contrast to previous years, proper referees will be used, however, each team will be required to provide a linesman for their matches (this can be one of the substitutes).
· It is the team managers responsibility to ensure the team is available for their allotted kick off time. If the team is not available at the kick off time the game will be awarded as a 2-0 win to the opposition. (I will show you on the morning where to be)

If you are not down to play you are definately welcome to come and cheer us on.
Any questions you can always leave a message here or PM me.
Oh looks like there is a detail not included in there...it is £5 per player to play by the way.
Jnr Shot, no you can't, unless there are a few people who drop out. I have prioritised the list mainly on people who either 1) played in last years tournament, 2) has played a lot of games for the Supporters team, and 3) played in the first year of the tournament.
This is the fairest way to do it, as it is a great tournament to play in and I know lots of people want to play in it, so places should be granted on some form of merit.
So if there are a few drop outs there are others that have already been promised the places. But if in the unlikely event we do get enough drop out you will be considered.
Thanks Matt, but none of that is down to me, it is Farnborough's tournament, so they are organising all the logistics. If you really want to officiate you can send me a private message and I will put you in contact with Chris from Farnborough.
As for our squad it is now looking something along the lines of:
Tony Roberts
Pugsley
Steve Mackay
Ian Parish
Simon Gilbert
Barry Hindmarsh
Wayne Mackay
Kev Simms
Dave Shearer
Dennis Keefe
Ben Watts
Andy Copley
Craig Garwood
John Masters
That should be enough as long as nobody drops out, so anyone else that is interested might get a chance because I have heard of someone who might drop out.
Be at Cherrywood Road at 11am, and we'll have to try and defend our trophy from last season there.
