Phoar what a cracking game but England need sorting out and it wont happen with that Swedish **** incharge and nor will it happen with Steve McClaren either. OK he made some good substitutions this match but he should've made them at half-time maybe even before that.


Frank Lampard - What the hell happened to him today


Peter Crouch - Cant header the ball to save his life despite the goal


Ashley Cole - Cannot man mark or defend properly


Rio Ferdinand - Because of him we nearly went 1-0 down but lucky John Terry was there to help him


Joe Cole - Too greedy

I thought Peter Crouch was absolutely pathetic. He was by far the worst player on the pitch, and I hope he gets dropped.


Best player for England? Aaron Lennon. He was quick, took players on, and made things happen. I hope he stays in the side. We should start as we finished, but with Owen istead of Crouch.

nah sorry guys i dont agree with you crouch is very useful get up wins the ball and is also good at holding the ball up.


 The other thing is to think about if you were the manger of england and you droped crouch who does beckham and the other wingers cross the ball into because owen walcot and rooney wont win them because there not tall enough.


You would have to change the style of football that we are playing in this world cup and england are not playing at there best already so changing it will only make it worse. If you ask me play crouch and rooney up front owen for some reason just not good enough at the moment.

the only thing i can say about crouch's performance is that he needs to stop showing off! he's more than capable of turning the ball in2 the back of the net, he has the height to cause any team problems when he goes forward and the ability

I don't so whats wrong with crouch if you look at his goal to match ration over the last month you will see he has played a lot better than owen and would you say he is ****.Although owen is still not 100% match fitness.Whats rooney without some1 to flick it on for him we cant expect beckham to pin point the long balls all the time and also Joe Cole is not greedy deffinately one for the future along with Ben's lennon much better than downing!There are a lot of players you have said played **** becuase of 1 or 2 minor errors like ferdinand if it was not for him we wouldnt have 1 of the best defences in the world just because he made 1 slight if anything error dont make him any worse of than anyone else or maybe you prefer Sol Campbell at the moment?

Wow! Crouch scored a hat-trick against Jamaica


What your forgetting Jnr Shot is that Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago's player mostly play in League 1 and the Championship and he and all the other England player play in the best leagues in the world and if you play in them your bound to score a hat-trick against Jamaica and Ferdinand is **** i'd rather have Jamie Carragher and John Terry as centre-backs for England


and shots 4 ever is wrong apart from the 1st goal all of David Beckhams crosses were pathetic there defenders won them all the time FATBOY is right on this one

England were abysmal but when sven brought on Downing and Lennon it had changed but I didnt think Rooney did much yesterday

Yes ok were not performing at the moment but I dont see how you can consist on calling crouch rubbish.He plays for a top 3 premiership team and he is top scorer for england at the moment he cant be doing much wrong, I mean I vary rarely see turns like his against Jamaica yes he isn't the fans favourite but like robinson and cole he has improved leaps and bounds in the last year and thats what we need at the moment England is relying on rooney too much we need to be able to do it without rooney.And who else to bring in than crouch, he can play well with owen but you have to give him time noone just immediately shocks the world on there debut world cup (appart from messi maybe)Well see after the world cup and then comment because I think for a lanky bugger crouch has a lot of potential well in argentina! everyone like to see free flowing football but when T&T players come up against England its like their world cup final so they are likely to raise their games as its likely to be the biggest of their carers (exclude Yorke and maybe Hislop). This is because the others play in the low leagues of English football or other countries, it was just like an FA cup tie of Exeter Vs United at Old trafford.

So lets get off the players back move on to the 2nd round because at the end of the day a win is a win whether the team plays well or bad, its all about getting that white ball to hit the net. So 3points is 3point even if we didnt deserve it!

So far player of tournament for england are Terry or Cole or Beckham!

You need your eyes testing fella! although crouch hasn't been amazing he's been working hard and does seem to be improving in confidence and ability with every game.... yes he made a quite a few mistakes against trinidad but Frank lampard missed more sitters than crouchy did and nobodys going to call for lampards head!


I think quite a few of englands players are struggling to get it together but it's always the same as far as england are concerned, they never seem to turn on the style in the group games.


If i had to choose between owen and crouch i'd put owen on a plane back home... no offence but he's not match fit he's not up to it and he's done **** all in the last two games, too many people think owen deserves to be there just on name sake and past history.


Personally i think Lennon has done enough to earn himself a start, crouchy will come good if he trys to keep it simple instead of trying to showboat, rooney will have an impact after he's got another match under his belt.


The core of the england squad need to take a good look at what's at stake here and ask themselves how much they want it, sven should pick the best team available to him on the previous performances which in my view means a few changes! then this team need to go out against sweden all guns a blazing and show they mean business.

Based on my own opinions, I would keep the squad that finished against trinidad except for downing maybe, i'd give rooney at least 60 minutes to see how he fares up and then if he's struggling i'd bring him off and introduce theo walcott, afterall, what's the point in taking him if you're not going to use him.


I don't dislike Owen i just think he's had an injury prone season, he's missed out on a lot of football over the last season and in my honest opinion he just doesn't look up to it, at the very least i'd drop owen from the starting eleven and use him as a sub.


As far as im concerned we have four strikers in Crouch, Owen, Rooney and Theo, we have two guaranteed matches left and in the first two games Crouch and Owen have failed to bag more than 1 goal between them which is a little worrying, so rooney's been pronounced fit although he's gonna need at least one more game before he's probably capable of a full 90 and Theo's not played yet, in my eyes it's a good time to give them both a chance.

its how u play on the day and how u work as a unit??


crouch is a target man leave him in owen couldnt hit a barn door and pace has dropped loose that **** use lampard as a holding mid player and gerrad as an attacking mid player play rooney as an out and out goal scorer pace is shocking when fit (mind u id of left him at home and took defoe or bent)


what did england have to prove against tnt? wait til the knock outs they will soon start to play

i think that you should read back what you have written because since a.cole's return to fitness he has played well and made some great challenges. and saying j.cole cant pass shows that your knowledge is some what of the mark. agreed he didnt have the best game but im pretty sure that he can pass and very well at that.
