I don't know if anyone watches darts, but James Wade, who comes from Ash, in Aldershot, is through to the World Matchplay Championship, and wil play either Andy Hamilton, or 13-time World Champion Phil "The Power" Taylor!
I know James Wades cousin...I was in the same class as him at school :) Jason Wade - I remember him once stepping on a big nail which went straight through his foot when we were swimming at school...ouch!!
I agree, he was very close. But if you don't hit that double 12, then you haven't got it!
As I watch the final, it is 13 - 10 in favour of Phil Taylor, and he's just taken control of the game I think. I'd still like to see the boy Wadey win it though, in terms of him being from Aldershot and all that.
Maybe we can track him down and ask for a game in Wally's bar!
