touch wood . this is what we need boost our players confidance straight wins and draws aneything but losing mayby next season will be our year i think terrey brown had got the right idea about getting players earley
get in though its because terry brown has an eye for a good player e.g mark moleseley markcus gayle those signings just say it all SHOTS ARE GOING UP AS CHAMPIONS
I dont think Marcus Gayles all that look at his record 663 games and 84 goals pretty crap for a striker but well see the conference could be a league that would suit him
Roll on Gravesend

It wouldn't matter if we'd have won all our friendlies 5 - 0! FRIENDLIES COUNT FOR NOTHING! Fair enough, we have taken mny positives out of pre-season, but we have been playing many higher teams that play free-flowing football. Teams like Gravesend and Weymouth will scrap and fight for every single ball, not just hold off! We will see when it comes to August 12th!

I think he learnt after last years mistake of trying to sign people at the last minute shots for the football league!
''Northbank_4eva_jokin'' get a life! You don't think Marcus Gayle is all that? Erm ok so why did he play league football with Wimbledon, Watford and Brentford? lol
I think he meant he's not as good as he was,Thats what age does to football player and thats exactly why they come down to league's such as the conference.Just remeber he hasn't played with any of these players before.Give him a chance to shine i'm sure itll come.

Yes correct he did but i never recalled him playing a great game for either of them thats why he only played 4 games for Rangers because he werent up for it and he was also in the Wimbledon side that got relegated and when he was with watford they were doing **** and had one of crappest sides in the clubs history and with brentford he played 37 games and scored 2 goals!!! not bad if your a defender but he isnt he is a striker thats why he is playing in the conference now because no league clubs want him
maybe this is a perfect league for him but will see i hope he proves me wrong but i would love to say to you i told you sobut well see after gravesend on saturday
and Alton Shots maybe you should get a life because you cant accept that i am right

but you really are'nt right! ok the amount of goals he has scored may count for something but you have to be an outstanding player to even get in the the side! if he was so **** at brentford why whould the manager keep playing him? if he was so shoking that he could only manage 2 goals why wholud the manager play him another 35 games to be **** in? its not all about the amount of goals you score its your all around contribution! i.e passing, setting up goals, linking up with your strike partner. maybe you need to think about that...
''northbank'' you dont get the point! He played league football for almost all his career which is more than your ever do! lol. How can he be ****? lol
Your missing the ****ing point i said well see if the conference league would suit him and i know he played in defence aswell but his main is striker and remember Dion Dublin he scored on average 1 goal in every 3 games as a centre half and he played for just a little bit
and i didnt mention that most of his brentford games were probably as sub
and i dont care if im **** at football because i am i can deal with that
my uncle is a watford fan i have went to every home game with him since our last promotion to the premiership in the 2000.
when i went me and my uncle used to listen very carefully to the team line ups ever since marcus gayle joined, and on his first game for us we were waiting anxiously for him to get on the pitch, half way through that season we were waiting anxiously for him to get off the pitch.
Adrian Boothroyd got rid of him and look where that got us.
Aldo he might do well at Aldershot because they are at a lower level he might do well you never know though.
marcus gayle has something and has had it for a long long time for me he is a proven player that wants to play as much football as he can wich means dropping leagues and someone like that who wants to play will rarely give less than 100 %
i hope he gels and i hope he shuts the doubters up and i hope we will all support him as an aldershot player instead of slate him.
i must agree with you on one thing gaz, and that is that he does go out and give it his all and i liked him for that when he was at watford, just that his best wasnt good enough.
