WE know its you becuase it says next to the topic my friend and I think it's a wrong decision already beckham is still one of the best players we have in my mind no matter what anyone says although lennon is looking very competitive.

I think thats the most bo11ox I have heard in ages he participated in more than half of the goals in the world cup or does that not count.I'm not saying he is as good as he was but he is still one of our best players.I will agree with you on one thing we play long ball football with him and nothing else but we have crouch?I just think he is a big dent in the squad.
'its a chance for the younger players, I am building for the future he will still have to fight for his place, the door is not closed on David Beckham...'
so dont start getting your hopes up about him getting axed permanentley
Re-watching that greece goal I dont see how you can say that (apart from barnard) there is not 1 person in the world could of done some of the stuff he has done for england. He has saved england from further embarresment including when england met equador in the quarters of this years world cup.He can pin point passes from over 50 yards and is a very strong player to have,if he wasn't he wouldn't be were he is now and being paid what he is now.
Aaron lennon is a good player and is prooving to be quit a match for beckham but he has no experience and this is what we need.Yes we are looking to a new younger "brighter" squad but there has to be experience so these boys can learn it all from people who have been there.I think it will be a very big mistake to leave him out of Euro 2008.The team are not good at coming from behind but beckham always gives the nation hope and I do wish he stays on and keeps this up.Stepping down as captain must of been very hard for this man and I think he did the right decision but his time is not over!
Becks is a good player i am not doubting that. But he has been around for a very long time. He has saved England many times but I think it is now time to move on. He should stay in the squad but not be No.1 right wing!
Beckham is past it. It's time for a new era of players and Beckham is not that. Yes, he could prove valuable as back up but he doesn't offer alot apart from free kicks- which lately haven't been brilliant.

Beckham has past it hes not even a footballer hes a celebrity and hes put his name on the record book for england by being the forst player to be sent off twice i think that sums it up hes only highly recognised because hes shagging one of the spice girls and Steve McClaren is twice the manager Sven was already Sven was afraid of dropping him and sven let beckham pick the england side half of the time
When sven was incharge the squad was picked itself it was never different

He has also been in the record books for a lot more including being the only player to score in 3 world cups in a row thats not luck.I'm going to drop the subject now as I have very good resons (cant be assed) but I think you should watch football more!

How can anyone think of saying that Becks is no good!!!!! He was/is one of our best players and i think that he will be missed, he is not just famous for shagging a spice girl... He is very talented and we would do well to learn from him before they get rid of him....
He will always be a legend and one of the great England players in my eyes....
