Burton on December 9th

Just a quick message to ask if you cared for a supporters match against the Burton supporters team prior to the game at the Pirelli on the 9th December?

We've got a half decent side, or at least we do when hips aren't being replaced or hernia's are being repaired... So far this season we've played three matches with mixed fortunes and the chance to arrange another game would be well received up here.

We play home fixtures fairly close to the Pirelli and arrange for pre-match food at a pub a couple of minutes walk from the ground.

The links below are to the supporters football message board and our team website.

Hope to hear from you sometime soon.

Er, I think I'll speak for evenyone when I say thanks, but no thanks. What with actually getting up there and all that, it'd be a bit too much hassle. However, if Jason has other ideas, then fair enough!

Over to you, Jase...

I'm sorry I'm unable to answer your question Adam.

But Fatboy I don't agree with you. It's not too much hassle what so ever, it's just needing someone to take charge and ORGANISE something - which obviously you're not interested in.  I bet a few people (more than what you expect) would like to have a match against Burton. (Or I could well be VERY wrong....?)

I don't see why we could not organise a game up at Burton. We have played away at Tamworth before which is a similar distance, and also played away as far as Radcliffe, so why not.

I'm happy to warm the bench, or even start
