About as good as could of hoped for with exception of kings lynn.

But bare in mind basingstoke will be up for the game and proven can beat football league opposition in chesterfield.

Bring on the 3rd round

Right, there are 2 different trains of thought that occur in my mind right now...

1) Basingstoke at home. One of, if not the easiest draw we could've got. A league or two below us, let's turn them over and get one of the big 4 from the premiership in the 3rd round.

2) Uh-Oh! Basingstoke. They know how to beat us! Every time we play them, they play us off the park. We get injured players, even if we do only put a reserve team out, and end up playing a crap game. Out of the cup, only league to play for until the trophy comes in.

So, hopefully, we will decide to play as the decent Aldershot, who played at Oxford, and not the piss poor Aldershot, who turned up at Chelmsford!

Also lets try to beat Chelmsford first...because I don't know if its just me but I think we're very lucky to still be in the cup! Chelmsford were all over us and we managed to snatch a draw!

So...lets pull our finger out and have some better performances...get some points on the board and have a good cup run

Agreed did only just snatch a draw but did have a few goodish spells. But at home hopefully should be in for less shocks but depends which aldershot turn up.

But i have faith i our lads to do the business.

I wasn't there but saw the highlights and was told all about it by a few of our fans and they all said the same "worst game of football I have seen by aldershot" whats going on I mean it's so frustrating were in the conference and were not beating these clubs. We have a league winning side,a league winning crowd and a league winning manager whats going wrong?! I think it's the players at the moment and there passion about the game.

When you look back at the team we had when we reached the play offs before we had players such as jonny challinor, will antwi these were the players who wanted to be in the place they were. It seems that some of the players we have at the moment are the opposite of this. There has to be an explination of why terry brown keeps starting soares sub and it's deff not his skill because when he wants to play good he is outstanding but something is missing. People are saying we need a goal scorer well john grant was top scorer for halifax last season and marcus gayle deffinately is not shy I just feel we need more players like ryan scott, bully, barnard who has delayed his operation 3-4 times now to make himself available for terry brown.
