Will anyone else be at the Fans' forum tonight? New chairman John Mcginty, and Cheif Executive Doug Wilson will be answering questions in the phoenix club from 8pm.
Yeah I was there Ben as you know and a very interesting night it was too. It was good to hear from both John and Doug. Its a shame there wasn't more RBA there but I guess that was never going to happen on a Friday night!
Doug Wilson seems a really genuine guy who wants to move the club forward and he certainly seems to know his stuff. He has already made a number of improvements to the way the club is run and along with the new friendly caring chairman we have, I think this club is on the up.
So to any of you doom mongers out there.....don't despair but feel good and positive about the good times to come. You've got to be patient though as you can't change a club over night.
However I'm sure that we now have the right people in place to prepare this club and take it forward into the football league where we belong. It may not be this season that we win promotion but I'm sure with the continued good support from us fans we will get there.
We have to be more patient with the managing staff though. Its wrong to be calling for TB head at this stage of the season. We have to remember that its nearly an entirely new squad this season which takes time to gel. Also I think he deserves a bit of loyalty with what he has done for our club. With a better New year we could still make the play-offs and add to that a good cup run and we will be calling for a Knighthood to TB!!!
So lets get behind everyone at the club and hope the above prediction comes true...... Up the shots!
You r right in what you have said people need to get of his back. I think we r doing well to be onist as we have got a new team from last year. So lets all get behind them and get into the playoffs. COME ON YOU SHOTS
