AFC Wimbledon

Just a quick note to say, AFC Wimbledon have said that they would like a game on the 16th when they visit us.

First off, who would like to play?

Secondly, they have said that they would really like it if we could get somewhere with shower facilities, and obviously, not living in the area, I am not sure what there is about, and Bourley Road do not have showers.

Any ideas anyone? Let me know.

Regarding the showering facilities perhaps try and pre-organise something with the sports centre or even ask the club

The club wont let us with it being a match day or i would be very surprised if they did however they might let us use the training ground they have showers and we would have to pay on the polo feilds.

Yeh i will play mate

Careful Bazza, doesn't your boy go to Connaught?

School ghettos aside, where is it going to be played, what with only a week left. I think Aldershot Park or Connaught Leisure would be the best places myself. Anyone else care to comment?

Well I am happy to get this game sorted, but I am going to need a place we can play...and in order to organise that, I either need someone to go down there and book a pitch, or I need someone to give me a phone number for a place to phone where they have a pitch to hire, with showers.

Well, here's the URL for Aldershot Park, but I'm not sure about the showers. You'd have to ask about that one.

Here's Connaught Leisure, but once again, not sure about the bokking of a football pitch element. You'd have to ask about it tbh...

Its looking very unlikely, can't seem to find a pitch that has shower facilities, that is available for Saturday.

So unless there is a big change to that, then I can't see there being a game.
