Alton Shot repeatedly does it, Garzy did it, so now it's my turn!!!


Crap game, crap performance by both teams. I wouldn't have been surprised if it had been a no score draw.


Quality finish from Louis Soares, couldn't have taken it any better. Although, we seemed to slow down a bit in the second half, and stopped playing the football we know we are good at.


1 rant: Why the hell was Ben Harding, a defensive midfielder, brought on for Mark Molesley, an attacking midfielder, when the game was at 1-1? No offence to TB, but that was a poor substitute in my eyes....


Anyway, back to the good parts, hopefully Marcus Gayle will be fit for the Grays game this Saturday. Nice to see Kirk Hudson energetic as usual, hopefully see him banging in goals regularly soon.


Overall rating : 6 / 10. Could be better, hopefully see an improvement on Saturday!

Basically a defeat is very harsh on Forest Green and we need to improve quite a lot if we are going to beat Grays and get any kind of a result at Stevenage

Lets just put it this way we hardly beat Forest Green so its a good result in my eyes even though it was a poor game of football.

It dosn't matter how you do it as long as you win! Ok it wasn't the best of performances but we got the right result. In my eyes.....although far from our best we were still the better team on the day and deserved the 3 points.
Mind you its just as well we have Super Darren Barnard!!! Ive lost count the number of times that guy has single handedly won us games......what will we do when he retires!?
The reason Oxford are at the top of the league is because they win games even when they don't play well......Id like to see us do that more often as I think thats the only way we will get out of this division.
Well done to all the players and management on a well needed 3 points!
