I'm expecting quite a few people are watching the thread on Shotsweb about the East Bank getting sponsored and being renamed after a company.
Any thoughts on this?
I personally would hate the East Bank being renamed, however, it is true that to all the die-hard fans who stay in the East Bank, it would always remain that way.
Could the RBA sponsor the East Bank? How much would it cost?
Some people make me laugh, no offence meant though!
What would the point be in the RBA sponsoring it?
It's not as though we have the funds to sponsor the EB PLUS put on displays or how would the RBA actually find the funds to sponsor it?
Leave the sponsoring to the businesses, it wouldn't hurt - just means the club gets some money. It's not as though they're turning it into a lifeless, plastic all-seater and to the FANS it'll still be known as the East Bank.
I think a business could pay far more £££££ than the RBA could which is only better for the club. Obviously it's a difficult time and we all have our thoughts but at the end of the day its the CLUB THAT MATTERS.
