Hello all. I would have registered as Taunton Red but I couldn't as that name has already been taken! Must have been one of my former lives! Anyway 'tis me...Taunton Red that is...or Wayne to my friends.
Anyway a big big hello to those that remember me. Due to this and that it has been a while since I watched the Shots in action. Even longer since I stood on the East Bank singing Zummerset Zummerset Zummerset! Oh how I miss the early mornings and late nights all in the name of football.
Reading through the board there seems to be a few new names and a few old ones missing too. How times change eh? Are my old travelling buddies Alex, Frank, Tonesy, Pugsley and Clive still involved? I've read that there is a meeting this week to discuss the future of the RBA. I hope it goes well. Having been the founder of Stray Shots I know how difficult and time consuming running things like this are. Good luck to you all.
Hopefully I will be able to watch a few games next season. It would be great to catch up with a few old faces and enjoy a cider or six. Take care all.
Alex and Frank are both employed now (don't faint), Pugsley is a father (you may now faint) I can't tell you about Clive but Tonesy is still knocking around from time to time.
I don't think we had the pleasure of meeting as I was unfortunately unable to attend the shots for some time myself during the period that you were in attendance, however..... I'm well aware of who you are =)
