RBA vs Crystal Palace - Tuesday 17th July!

Crystal Palace have an "ultras" group (Holmesdale Fanatics) also so just wondering how many people would be up for coming to the game and doing a bit of a TIFO.

Apparently some members of the BWA (Blue White Army of Colchester) will be turning up for this also and maybe a few from the CD (Crawley Devils of...Yes, you guessed it, Crawley).

We have a week to get something together quickly. Any idea's?  :)

We've got to think about what we can do with the numbers we have.

I've always liked how we've had about 20 hand flags in the East Bank. I reckon we could base something around that. The three bigger tifo flags at the front, as usual, with as many hand flags behind them, filling all across the East Bank. I think that always looks amazing, and it takes minimal planning, just putting flags onto their poles.

I think there wouldn't be enough people there to use the surfer. Would be a wate of time, and we'd make fools of ourselves.

2-Sticks are alright, but they're a bit "simple" if you like. All you do is hold them up, and they're a bit basic.

If we can get some lining paper and some paint, I'm quite happy to sort out a banner saying "ONE TEAM IN RED AND BLUE" or something along those lines. However, I have no cash until by bank account opens properly, which won't be for a few days. But, like I say, I'm happy to do the banner if we can get the equipment.

Ooooh, I've just had an idea. The top idea, using all the flags and all that, then, in the middle, have a painted banner saying "THE REAL RED AND BLUE ARMY". What does everyone think of that one?

Any more ideas?

Hi lads,

I am looking forward to this big time! HF have a great group with an amazing mentality & i like your displays and was good to stand with some of you @ Dagenham last season.

There will be 2 of us maybe more making the journey down on tuesday, will be good to stand with you in the eastbank this time.

Would you mind if we brought the group banner with us this time?

Anything we can do let me know.

Good idea Wob, but with the current lack of funds, and lack of time also, it seems red and blue confetti won't be used. This is definitely one for the future though.

And for those who want to know, Dave and Myself sorted the display today. Loads of flags, including the 3 tifo flags. I'm trying to sort out doing some sort of banner on lining paper, but that's only a possibility.

we are planning on coming up for around 4.30 and meeting up with DanRog & Ross from Crawley was hoping there would be around half a dozen of us and have a proper meet. probably just me & Ash again.

Don't be surprised if HF pull off something secret-they caught us out in May.

90 minutes of singing i hope! may be a be rusty after 2months off though.

Save us a 6m space for the banner smile

Yeh i'm liking the sound of tonight the amount of people and flags on the RBA's side should be a good match for the opposing group!
