Hi all,

We're going to be needing about 12 of you to help out tomorrow night.
Can you meet FATBOY down the front of the East Bank at 7:20pm to find out what's going on and decide who's doing what....  

We'll also need a load more people for something else but DEFINITELY need 12, odd for this please.

Can you please let us know in this thread if you'll help.

I should be in Wally's bar by about 6.30 and will be available to help. I couldn't get hold of Dave Beck to get the paint and paper so the Helen Chamberlain banner has not been donecry. Shame as I recon it would of got a few laughs........

So was I mate but what with all this rain I've got nowhere to paint it even if I went out and bought my own materials. Anyway the general sensous was that I shouldn't do it as it may offend somebody!!??? Hmmmm Did I miss something?? Since when have us football fans become politically correct!!??

This is why nothing is ever said about displays, before we meet in the East Bank to sort things out. Things are agreed by a number of relevant people, whoever needs to be told is told, and that is it.

From now on, let's try and be a little more discreet shall we lads? Decent displays revolve around the elevent of surprise.

Whats the problem Ben? That banner is not being done anyway but even if it was......why would people talking about it make it less funny??
And I don't see why a display has to be top secret? Weather people know its gonna happen or not surly dosn't take away from how good or not the display looks?..........explain?confused

Yeah, but, wouldn't it be better if no-one knew about it, then "WHACK", a belter of a display? It personally think that it would be so much better if we kept things under wraps about displays, because if someone is expecting something, then it has less of an impact. Or, if it's expected and it doesn't happen, it makes us look stupid.
