As you may or may not be aware Myself and three other Shots fans are participating in a sponsored drive around all 92 football leage grounds in aid of the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.

We aim to make as much money as possible for this worthy cause and at the same time hope to generate some good publicity for Aldershot Town Football Club, our wish is to make this event as big a success as possible so if anyone is prepared to commit themselves to a small donation then this would be very much appreciated.

The event will be taking place between the 9th - 14th of September.

There are a couple of ways that you can make a donation to this worthy cause! The obvious being to sign our sponsorship forms if we approach you at either the home game against Crawley or the home game against Northwich.

Alternatively I have set up a webpage through justgiving.com where donations can be made direct to the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice. This page will remain active for a period of three months.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Less than a week to go now till this event takes place.... sponsorship currently stands at £275 raised.... this doesn't include the donation buckets and any sponsors the beehive/golden lion have succesfully collected for us.

The target is set at £500 and it would be nice to meet this so anyone who hasn't sponsored us already that can spare a few quid then please do so now.... you can donate online by visiting www.justgiving.com/sponsoreddrive or alternatively leave your name, addy, contact number and amount with myself, Chappie, Frank or Stuart.
