Myself and three other Aldershot Town Football Club fans are participating in a sponsored drive around all 92 football league grounds across England and Wales in the space of six days.

We will be setting off at the crack of dawn on Sunday the 9th of September and aim to work our way around all 92 league Grounds by Friday the 14th of September.

We will stop briefly at each ground to pose for a photo as evidence of having been there and will then publish the photos on www.redbluearmy.com a website for ultra fanatical aldershot supporters.

Our intentions are to encourage people to sponsor us for this event and then all proceeds raised will be donated to the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.

We have chosen this charity because we feel it is an extremely worthwhile cause.

The Hospice receives less than 16% NHS funding and relies heavily on the support and generosity of the local community.

All their services are free of charge but it costs £10,000 a day so therefore donations and legacy gifts are crucial.

We hope to make this event a big success by raising as much money as we can for the Hospice and at the same time generating some good publicity for Aldershot Town Football Club.

We will be collecting Sponsors at Aldershot Towns home match against Nortwhich Victoria on Saturday the 8th of September or alternatively people can visit www.justgiving.com/sponsoreddrive and make a donation online.  If you are a UK taxpayer making a donation online then an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

It is indeed, Dylan is just a nickname I somehow aquired when i first left school and it kinda stuck with friends and family alike.

That's awesome Dylan, nice1!...... I visited the Hospice on Friday to collect official sponsor forms and collection buckets. I also asked about contacting the local paper but you have saved me a job, cheers.
I will be arriving early 2moro so I can spend as much time as poss collecting. Also I have arranged for the players to sponsor us c/o Ricky Newman which is a bonus. Would appreciate some help with the buckets if u can make it.
