Some VERY good news. Wycombe Wanderers FC has agreed to host a Fans United Safe Standing Day at its home match on Sunday 9 September 2007 kick-off 1.30pm. This game is live on Sky.
WE NEED HUNDREDS OF FANS FROM OTHER CLUBS DESCENDING ON WYCOMBE THAT DAY DRESSED IN CLUB COLOURS!
Let us know about your attendance and how many you'll be bringing. Let's turn Wycombe into a football United Nations for the day, make it a great day out for everybody. Both SUSD and the FSF are fully behind this. The club will be invited all the other 91 clubs and all the 145 MPs who have signed the pro safe-standing House of Commons Early Day Motion.
Definately would if I could! One of the reasons why I stopped going to watch Birmingham, buy an over priced ticket and realised you're sat on the first row in the bottom corner and there's nothing you can do about it....1 stand in every ground should have standing!
They will put coaches on if there's enough interest in each area. So if we can get the message accross to other local clubs and the bigger clubs around (London area?).
There's no point getting a coach form around here, if we're classed in the London area, because it'd probably be cheaper to go by car. We're closer to Wycombe than where a coach would leave for the London area.
Hi guys, i am interested in going. going to ask some of the others if they would like to go. would be good to meet up-i think toon ultras will be there.
Well I think this is a great and worthy cause and if it wasn't for my already planned event I would be going. The RBA road trip starts on the 9th Sep and funnily enough Adams Park is 1 of our first stops! However as we are setting off at 6am we hope to arrive there long before kick-off and unfortunately won't have time to stay for the game. I'd offer you boy's a lift but we already have a full car and besides, it would be via Swindon Town and Reading fc!! lol
