Ok party people. I've been speaking to Halifax for a couple of days now and it's GAME ON!
They'll be driving down nice and early for an 11.00 kick off!
Something I want to do different this year to previous seasons is to do what Kiddy did for us at the start of the season. This was that we didn't have to pay £2/3 for the hire of the pitch. They paid for the whole pitch as we are their guests. It's not exactly a bg deal, more of a nice friendly gesture!
So if you could put your down if you would like to play please...so I can get the team sorted. thanx
Me! and I totally agree on not charging them for the pitch. Fair play to them to get up and out as early as they will have to - we should organise some sandwiches etc for them in Wallies bar (like we did for Crawley) they won't have eaten and will be starving hungry! Dave - can you arrange that and I will sort the cost (say £50 worth of Sandwiches, sausage rolls, etc etc)
well...I was thinking if we charge everyone £5 to play. Say thats 13/14players = £65 - £70. The pitch is £45 so with the cash left over can go to food.
You've obviously done food before through the club (is £25 enough)...could we do that again if we gave them the funds? Or was this only when Andy Morgan was present?
If we can't I can get my Mum to prepare some food I guess
Due to having to work on the sat of the Halifax game I'm not gonna be able to make this 1 boys(will keep the score down a bit!)However I finish at 12 so will try to make it down for the 2nd half to give my support....Come on the RBA!!
At the moment i have no job (BUM) so no money well i have £30 untill i get a job...... scary. But Ill blag some money of the old dear, and come up Ill start on bench if you want dont mind, and if anyone wants to come off im happy to play anywhere :D
