I know this kind of thread has been done to death but lets try and get a few ideas. Who knows? One idea could be used with another.
Was thinking of having XX verticle strips hanging from the Eastbank roof to the bottom of the terrace or held like the stripes usually are.
It would be 1 green strip on the left side followed by XX red strips. All with about a metre gap - can be sorted on the day.
On the green strip have BULL written down it, then something else just underneath with a message of thanks or something and on the others have different player names. Again all the surnames written down the strip, not across.
Then have a banner running along the East Bank below these strips saying:
'OUR HEROES, OUR LEGENDS' (something along those lines)
Well that's the whole point in this thread - to get ideas for future displays.
For the idea in the first post though, it doesn't just have to be current ATFC players. It would be nice to get something for the current players but there's no one that really "deserves" or has been here long enough other than Bully.
It could be for example: Bully, Chewy, Warbs, Hooper, Sterling?, D'sane, Sills, Mclean.
Or if it was to be for just Bully on his own. Draw him on some paper and colour him in (that sounds so childish, but you get what I mean) with a message underneath aswell.
Yeah I think Bully deserves a tribute.............not sure we should mention players of old tho......Thats more a testamonial type of thing. Lets concentrate on the current squad and spur them on to promotion with our support. Our club Captain is well in need of a song.......any1 come up with 1 yet?
Based on the fact that this is supposed to be future displays then perhaps IF we do win the league and gain promotion as champions we could use Martins idea or bits of it at least.
A large flag with our current squads names on and a large title at the bottom that simply reads: 2007-CHAMPIONS-2008?
In other words a **** off flag with the word champions at the bottom and every players name listed on the flag.
Manchester United had a blue and white strip once that had old and new heroes of old trafford sewn into the design, this however would be a flag that simply had our current heroes wonder webbed onto a large flag.
Obviously this won't be any good unless we finish first but it's an idea for the future none the less.

I dont know if its been talked about or done before, but I was thinking about, if it would be possible to let off party popers in the east bank, you no those plastic bottle shaped things with a bit of string you pull and loads of streamers come out, cause I see now you can buy really big monster size ones at a shop in fleet and blackbush market. dont exspect its against the law! and it would certanly cause a bit of a stir if a load went of at once!!!

i had an idea although you may not like it or it may not work Southampton VS Derby County Play Off Semis @ Saint Marys. Half the saints fans had red card on their seats, the other half had white. Shortly before kickoff there was an announcment put over on the tannoy and everyone held up their cards and it looked pretty good.Dont have any pics, but there may be some on internet... I know tannoy announcment wouldnt work but if card was handed out and the RBA held theres up when appropriate, wouldnt everyone else just follow? Just an idea though..
The scarf idea is good but the problem with it is getting the word round to every1 to bring 1........think it would be easier at an away match as we could just leave instruction with the coach organisers to tell every1 to bring 1......maybe we could do it for the next away match? FA Cup vs Crawley?
That was a very good idea Wob, shame nobody paid any attention because them dsiplays look fantastic, and the oxford fans would have been concentrating more on how amazing our display was, then there ponsy ultimate yellows thing
So I was thinking it would look really good if we had a load of red and blue streamers at Oxford and did something similar to that as the teams came out
