Was any body listening to John Gaunts phone in show on Talk Sport on Thursday between 10am 1pm? Part of his discussion was about how the Country was no longer giving recognition and support to our Armed forces hero's returning from operations. I texted in telling him about how Aldershot Town fc had invited 2 regiments of soldiers to 1 of our recent home games and had a 1 minutes silence at half time for them. He read the text out and commented what a great thing it was and said a well done to A.T.F.C. He is now starting a campaign to get every football club in the country to do a similar thing at an up coming set of matches. He also writes for the Sun so is going to get the Sun to start the campaign. Lets hope that he remembers that it was Aldershot that started this off and gives us a mention in the paper.
