First Post

Alright Lads, this is my first post on herebiggrin. As we know at the moment the RBA isnt having the best of times. I think that there has been a lot of good ideas on this forum but they havent really been used. Firstly it is hard to join the RBA so possibly just put a stall or something (outside the east bank) which also sells scarfs etc explaining what the RBA is all about and it would make it easy to join. With more members in the RBA it means better displays, atmosphere etc so lets show everyone what were about, WE CANT LET THE RBA DIE!

Also I am always up for helping with displays etcsmile

Welcome on board.

Random but, I know your brother.

You make some good points. We did try asking the club if we could do something like that but they weren't having any of it. The clubshop did have our things to sell on the quiet but then were stopped. But I'm not completely sure on details with regards to that.

Thanks for the support.

Hi Lads,
This is also my first post, I come up to every home game on saturdays and few midweek games when possible plus already been oxford, weymouth & salisbury away. I have a lot of respect for what you boys do, as the atmosphere you create at games especially away from home makes most other teams support look crap and the displays you do are fantastic but they been on the quiet side lately. The RBA has had a huge impact on the teams success this year and make sure you keep it going to help the boys with promotion. I would rather travel a 300 mile round trip to see our boys put in a good performance and be part of the east bank than travel 10 mins down the road to watch the pile of crap that is torquay. I just hope a few of you are coming down to torquay away coz that is going to be a big game for our season.

Devon, nice to hear from you mate, and don't worry there will be hundreds coming down to Torquay.  the RBA may even be putting on a subsidised coach to encourage the hard core to travel

Subsidised? Does that mean the RBA pay for it?

If it does, then I'd say I'd rather the RBA didn't organise a subsidised coach. I would much rather pay, and keep the RBA with plenty of money, than us lose loads. And I know that a lot of others would do the same, simply because it's TORQUAY AWAY!

Bit cheaper to help fill seats. No.

You're looking into it too much.

Yeah well thats ok for you lol,my mums said that if I don't get a C in the science exam I have on tuesday then she's putting her foot down.
If I get a C:

She will lend me money for football if I don't have it(which is most of the time)
She will buy my season ticket
I can go to each game, even if I haven't done enough revision

If I get below a C:

I can only go if I have enough money myself(which means I'm pretty much screwed)
I have to buy my own season ticket
I can only go to each game if I've done enough revision during the week

God,she does my head in sometimes. . . .furiousfurious
