Getting a bit of aggro on there at the moment, for the RBA moving to the stand today. Take a look!

Sensible comment only please, for **** sake. Don't want us looking stupid.

We certainly seem to have upset them! What is bizarre is that the original poster is voicing concerns about lack of segregation, yet all the Shots fans were to the right of the goal (as you look at the pitch) it was just that there were a lot of us!!

I think they've taken it a bit to far.
They only got abuse when we were abused by fans in there part of the stand.
I think that the atmosphere was superb, and wouldn't change anything about it. . .apart from the allowance of the drumsbiggrin

"Woking fans,
yes the lot with the flags(rba) do create a atmosphere and very impressive at times but i have to agree the language from them at times was appauling in front of kids.ATFC FATBOY makes himself and the RBA out to be angels and im sure he thinks he is "mr aldershot town fan of the year"
Whilst he and the rest of em do a good job with flags he doesnt seem to realise health and safety aspects! we are not all in favour of his constant crap drumming, standig in a seating area or attempts to take in hundreds of toilet rolls ect but as stated we would rather that then fighting on the terraces(by the way there hasnt been any of that in the ground for a number of seasons)and as stated the police know who the trouble makers are.The rba used to be a good group but since the original lad who set it up has gone others seem to think they are god and Aldershot would be lost without them.
apologies for the language please dont listern too much to his posts but remember without them and his drums we would be on par with f,boro 1 man and his dog."

**** sake. Why does everyone who isn't in the RBA, always link ME with the bad stuff?

Ooooh dear, they don't like us!

"Segregation - A number of Aldershot fans chose to stand today in the LGS. Despite repeated requests to sit down, in person and over the tannoy, they refused to do so. The police, in partnership with the club, decided that if we made them sit down, or removed them from the ground, the incident could have been made far worse. We did speak with individual fans and warn them.

I apologise to all fans, and will be doing so on the official web-site, that were affected by this. It will not happen again - we will look again at our ticket allocation procedures to ensure full segregation in future."

Bloody hell they dont seem happy! Was an amazing day out though. Really enjoyed it, one of the best games I've been to for atmosphere. We weren't that offensive to them and when we were they gave it back a little bit so they cant moan and we didn't hurt anyone by standing either! If they cant take a bit of banter then it really shows what pathetick support they have.

"Racist comments towards Marvin"

It may not be right to be shouting 'curry houses' and stuff, but seriously, would the RBA ever direct a racist comment at a specific player, I think not.

If i'm not mistaken, when they went 2-1 we were hurled abuse by 3 or 4 men, also using 'innapropriate' language.....furious

Exactly there was one bloke in particular hurling abuse at us and yet thats fine! Absolute joke. At the end of the day it would of been so easy to start a fight, and we're big enough not to stoop that low whcih shows we're only here to support our team and be vocal. I'm sure they'd prefer us to be vocal than violent!

I wish we had that drum, it would have wound them up so much.

1) Brilliant day out.

2) Excellent atmosphere.

3) Didn't need the drums and am glad we didn't have them as we proved we can make an atmosphere without them.

4) We won 4-2.

5) Woking hate us!

Could the day get any better?

Someone from Woking - David T - seems to be a club official or something, not sure though.

"It's a shame they have to resort to using this type of language and references to curry houses etc in their songs - as they actually made a good atmosphere at other times, and showed they didn't need that drum"

I'm glad he bought that up. I've been thinking that for a while now, IMO we don't need a drum at any game to make noise. I also believe that the drum seriously effects vocals at times, thats why "no one likes us" and "we'll never die" are our loudest songs, there is no drumming in them. Perhaps it would be an idea for a home game to not use the drum for just the first half, and if the atmosphere is poor then start using it second half. I'm not saying the atmosphere would definatley be better without the drum, I just think that it is worth giving it a go.

Of course.

But...Maybe only for one chant or whatever you want to call it after we score that thing we do...CLAP CLAP clap-clap-clap clap-clap-clap-clap ALDERSHOT

But it'd be good.

And trying to keep the chants going for longer and not speeding them up alas apache, great escape, GW's Red n Blue Army - only gets 4 or 5 of them and it stops which is why I think it's better for it to be Red n Blue army CLAP CLAP Gary Waddock's Like how Pugs would say "Terry Brown's" on the two claps.

Yeh, certain songs need the drum to sound good, but banging the sh1t out of it for other songs just drowns us out. I noticed this at Woking away on boxing day when I was stood away from the RBA, at first you hear us singing then the drum kicks in and all you can hear is *thump thump thump...*

Just my opinion, mind...

Yeh, fair play to Lee yesterday. Back to the game getting all the songs going. Like a capo for us :D

Good point Martin, but as I said IMO we sound better without the drum in general.
