Was ****e,to be absoutley honest. . .I know it's been said before, but I think that we can confirm that people only join into songs if they are sung to the tune of Tom Hark.I lost my voice today, and I think Rob and Dan Rogers will agree that I embarrased myself by attempting to start songs that don't have the tune of Tom Hark.I think we need to sort this out.Possibly let people know the tunes/words to songs...any views welcome
I have to agree, Salisbury were outsinging us at times and Rushden absolutley pi$$ed on us next season. "Often outnumbered - never outsung"...what a load of bollocks.
What also didn't help is when people in the section I was stood in tried to start a song the fukking drums would start up with the same song we've been singing all afternoon! singing the great escape, red army and come one the shots over and over again is boring as hell!
Our support is gonna get shown up big time next season at this rate.
Fair play to Salisbury. They outsung us for several parts of the game. Me & Pugs were singing but most the people around us were sorting out their make-up. I bloody hate those chavs that come and dont even bother to watch the game!

I agree. It will be interesting to see how different the atmosphere is with out them there on tuesday. . . .hopefully it will be louder, because people who will be going (hopefully) will have more of a clue.. . .
I agree with you Dan. The loyal fans who bother to turn up away (aka no kids) make the atmosphere what it is and when we are outnumbered like we probably will be on Tuesday we always rise to the occasion.

Yeh same, why do they come here just to socialise and not get involved in the game at all?
I have to admit though, everyone says that all the girls come along to get with the boys, but a few of them actually enjoy it and sing etc, fair play to them, tbh.

Bring on the Ebbsfleet...
thats probably another reason for the atmosphere being crap .
the amount that wanna sing are probably getting drowned out by all the chavs and all the girls that don't sing
some people infront of me today, bloody hell. i was trying to get Red Army chant going. and they just looked at me like i was a loony ?!

Yeah i had that. ****s. everytime i attempted to start a chant going they would laugh and be like "look at that guy trying to sing. what is he thinking"...
Yeah, the girls who DON'T sing, started staring at me as though I was mental. I don't give a fcuk to be honest,I'm gunna just sing even if people don't join in,and those of you who were near me will know that I did that today

wob the only reason i continued to do this through the game was because every other idiot standing in the eastbank was not doing a thing! it may be as boring as hell but if you want more different songs then youre gonna hav to stand there in the eastbank like lee does and get everyone singing!! you cant just blame a crap atmosphere on the drums every game, its the rest of the supporters including yourself aswell. i could see 2 times you and a couple of others were trying to start songs but you were not loud enough and some fans didnt know the songs you were singing..........instead of moaning about crap atmospheres lets try and improve it everyone!!!!!
Erm, we were singing and starting off songs. I've got no voice left! But everytime it went quiet, our bit would start singing just for you to drown us all out!
I've said it before, but can't we just try one game without drums just to see how it affects the atmosphere? No point saying "you can't blame the drums" when we have no proof to show that they enhance the atmosphere.
well, i think if u asked the vast majority of the eastbank, "do the drums enhance the atmmosphere?" they would say yes. if you dont hav them the atmosphere tends to be ****..............and we werent drowning you out we could barely hear you. if someones louder than you then the crowd will hear them and sing what they are singing. if you want people to know the songs better youve got to be louder than you are!
FFS, Rushden had no drums and outsung us easilly, Cambridge had no drums and outsung us easilly, when I go to watch Villa they have no drums and the atmosphere is class, same at Celtic. WE DON'T NEED A DRUM TO CREATE ATMOSPHERE.
As I said, why can't we try it just for ONE GAME to see IF the atmosphere is better?!
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM SMASH SMASH SMASH then I start to lose my voice.
I can't believe you think you can have a go at me for moaning and not trying ti improve it when all you do is twat your stupid drum which everyone else brought.

No need to get personal guys, its just going cause pointless, needless arguments.
To be quite honest, the loudest the EB got all game was when shouting WHO ARE YA at the Salisbury supporters. Why can't people put as much effort into supporting the team as they do into having a pop at the away supporters?
And LOL @ "Your support is fukking sh1t" directed at supporters who were totally outsinging us. And as for "They're sh1t, they're crap, they play in white and black" NEVER EVER AGAIN!

dan im not trying to make a needless argument but you need to hold your gob before you start having a pop at me! you did at the game today all because i forgot the bonus ball money.......a bit childish dont you think?
other people obviously put money in the bucket because they thought it was great havin drums
yeasterday and at other games i have tried to go quieter but the problem is the bass drum is too loud and NONE of you can be bothered to get everyone else singing with you. you stand there and make not much more noise than anyone else.............instead of moaning about it sort it out dan! think what could be done to improve it instead of blaming it every week on the drums! it starting to really piss me off!!!!
i think we have set ourself such high expectations at the start of this campaign and previous season by actually "singing our hearts out for the lads" and now people are getting dispondent by this "S hit" attitude when really its not that bad, just a bit less than it was say last season or the start of this one and yeah maybe it should be better because there are more people but half of them are sheep and only support the team when we win so come on guys lets not start a big arguement about wether there should or should not be drums, obviously tim liikes to play his drum and likewise for elvis, fatboy, lee etc. so lets let them do that and all stay together as one ey guys . . is that much to ask?
