Has anyone a lorry with an open back they can spare for an hour max on Sunday morning. All the advertising boards are down and need to be shifted. It will be awfully slow business unless we can throw them over the side into the lorry and then throw them out at the other end of the ground.
Next very important news- last week we had approx 12 helpers and a 'good time' was had. This time we need even more-even if its just for a short while. This Sunday we will be at least two helpers down from last week as one will be swanning about at Wembley and another is incapacitated.
First task will be to shift the advertising boards thereby clearing the pitch. More seats can be removed (ratchet man Steve!!!!) Some sections of the ground are ready for their first coat of paint. Other areas need wire brushing first.
We are now advised that the bricks from the wall knocked down last week are to be reused elsewhere. Therefore we need to tidy these bricks up by chiselling off the mortar.
If enough folk turn up there are other plenty of other areas we can start work on.
I have had offers from some folk who can do work during the week-after yesterday this is now even more important so come along from 9.30 any weekday morning and see what is happening and join in.
Come on everybody-there really is masses to do and we cannot manage it ourselves.
Sorry to lay it on a bit thick but hope you all understand. Do not forget that lorry. Please PM either myself or Johnboy if you have summat we can use.
