RBA in the programme

I remember a while back (October?) hearing about the RBA being given our own section in the matchday programme. What ever happened with this?

I think that was to do with Chappie talking to Keith Able. He could have been referring to just their drive, or it could have been for the long term. Which one, however, I'm not sure.

The club agreed to give the RBA their own section in the programme each week last season. We were gonna let a different person write the article each time but we ended up missing the deadline and due to their not being enough volunteers the idea kind of died in the water. Prob my fault as I should of posted it on this site.
I'm sure with more communication we could get this idea up and running for the new season. I'm happy to arrange this as I'm on speaking terms with the programme editor after mine and Dylan's road trip articles.
If everyone that is interested in doing a write up would put down their interest in this post, I will then draw up a list of names with deadlines of when you need to get the article in by.

Nice one Chappie. I assume the point of the article would be to highlight upcoming events such as coach travel (but also saying we are on par with the official coach to avoid problems), membership, and whatever else.

Yes the article could include that information but also you could write an article on anything you want e.g Account of your favorite away day, match report from supporters game, new songs that have been approved on this site, instructions for displays(like telling everyone to bring scarf) ect...... Its your article so you can write about anything football related really just as long as you keep the RBA's reputation intact.
Maybe someone like Dan Rogers would want to write about the Ultra scene in Italy or something? Its up to yourselves.

Hello Chap,
Let us know when you want a writer because I would be more than interested to participate in doing something for the programme.

See you soon,
Regards, Dangerous.
