Steph, if you want to bring your drum then bring it. The main thing is we all get behind the Shots and give them our full support. So wheither there is one drum or 100 i personally could not care what it sounds like as long as we are cheering on the team.

Ben,

Take a hint mate. There are 2, sometimes 3, drums at a game at any one time. We are already getting criticism from some fans, because you can't actually hear us singing. The drums are there to back up the atmosphere, not to make it.

Steph,

If you want to play drums, join a band. Your drumming, regardless of how good or bad it is, is not wanted in the East Bank.

I agree the drums muffle the singing and it is a pain but at the end of the day if someone wants to bring a drum, let them.

Well that was just slightly contrasting weirdfaceweirdface

The whole reason we don't want another drum is because it ruins the atmosphere.

So no, it's not a case of "at the end of the day"

It's, sorry to put it harshly, Your drum is not wanted?

Because they sound sh1t.

Drowns out the singing and offers nothing extra to the atmosphere.

It's quite sad that we need a drum to make noise IMO.

Guys, if we're going to debate about this - letīs at least do it sensibly, so it doesn't get out of hand.

Either way, im definitely 100% for the drums being used - with the right amount of drums, the atmosphere can be awesome - but i also agree too many can drown out the singing - but most of the time this doesn't bother me, as the players love it (ask anyone of them) as it definitely get's 'em going, however many drums there are.

Also there are other teams who have come to the rec whose fans have only said positive things about what the drums can do for us - and whenever they say something negative, itīs usually casue they're just jealous as they canīt get an atmosphere like it in their own grounds.

Spot on Frank, The guys i brought down from Sheffield thought it was fantastic, bearing in mind that these guys support big clubs like Sheffied Wednesday, Utd a couple of the guys were ringing Home so that their mates could hear the atmosphere. They still talk about it now, In fact they keep asking me to sort another trip down, I'm for the DRUMS.

**** hell!!!! Were not Ebbsfleet or Dagenham. We have singers to back up the drums. I think they can get a bit repetitive though. I reckon we should use them for home games only or away games only.

as ive already made clear before the drums AID the atmosphere NOT make it......

in my opinion we have alot of people that sing so instead of a few of you moaning about the drums how about encouraging people around you to sing?? im going to say now that next season the drums will be better balanced EG- not drowning out the singing.....

3 drums is enough! no more needed!
