Those of you who hated the Valentino song...

Will be pleased to know that he's signed for Crewe for £130k!

Great bit of business IMO.

One more time....

Joel Valentino,
Joel Valentino till the end of the night,
He's gotta be strong and he's gotta be fast,
And he can play on the left or the right....

smile

weirdfaceweirdface

He wasn't even THAT good at conference, had his moments but his consistency was pretty much 0, not quite a league 1 sides best player because you can do 6 stepovers me thinks.

Decent player, but we can easilly replace him.

Lots of skill, just couldn't finish.

I think this is the thing I'll remember him most for worship.gif

Well said Pugs......I echo your sentiments smile

Good luck Joel and in my opinion you will turn out to be another Aaron Mclean. Crewe's gain is our loss but I wish you all the best wink

Players come and go. Aaron Mclean was a striker, and his first job was to score goals, not to win a high jump contest. Unfortunately, having springs on his feet could not help Azza in front of goal, and so he moved on. That's football. He had a better time at Grays and eventually Peterborough, but hey, he is a quality player, and him and Terry just didn't seem to fit together like some other players currently at the club.

The same really goes for Joel. He didn't do well under Terry, and did a little bit better under Gary Waddock, but was never the first name on the team sheet. I personally think it's a quality bit of business for both clubs, as we've got a bit of cash out of it, and they've got a half decent player, who hopefully they can work wonders with like Darren Ferguson did with Springs at Posh.

Loved the song. Will miss that.

Will miss Joel too. I can remember that miss like it was yesterday. I was cheering, I thought he buried it. What a fool he made me look.

He was probably the most skillfullest player in the Conference last season, he must've had about 20 assists.
