Can't you guys think of something else to do other than play a silly little computer game in your spare time? Jump out of a plane at 12,000ft like I do; much more fun! biggrin

Got the PSP version today and it has some annoying bugs.  Played Aldershot v Bury - both sides were wearing red strips making it impossible to tell which players were on which team.  Any game that I play with Aldershot at home has Nicky Bull wearing the same kit as the rest of the players.

On the plus side Grant scored five minutes into a match against Liverpool!

Oh - Charles doesn't have an afro but Blackburn has his big hair smile

Personally I don't think there is a great deal of difference between 08 and 09 other than the obvious and the only reason that I purchased the game, it's pretty much the exact same concept with a bit of a face lift...... worth the buy though just cause the shots are on it.

Alex, it's time you uped the anti a little on the things you do for excitement.... next time you jump out of a plane at 12,000 feet try swapping your parachute for a co-op carrier bag =)

btw.......Fifa 09 on the wii is awesome. Started a carreer as Shots manager and am top after 3 games. I even managed a 1-1 draw with Villa in a pre season friendly!
All the players look quite life-like apart from John Grant who is white!! laughing.gif
Anyone else got it on the wii? I'm planning on having that tournement soon and I'm insisting its played on the wii so if you aint got 1 you better find some1 that has and get practising!

ps. Jackie beat the computer 6-1 in her first game so unless it was beginners luck then you lot better watch out! I'm refusing to play her untill I get better! biggrin

I like the PSP version even though there are some annoying bugs.

Just played Aldershot vs Southampton in the 3rd Round of the FA Cup.  Final Score AET 8-6 (5-all at full-time).  Four goals for Grant, two for Harding.  Morgan and super-sub Hylton also got on the score-sheet.  Charles and Osborne shown straight reds for tackles from behind.  biggrin  Have drawn Blackburn in the next round...

PS3 version is MUCH better!!!! Get a PS3!!!!

I beat Chelsea 3-1 on Professional.

OK they did have 10 men but its Chelsea FFS!!!!

Charles, Blackburn and Day look so real!!!!!
