DALE CAVESE!

[youtube=http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=S7Inv49Ghr8]

Was sung by a few lads at Notts and in the EB today, would sound class if it got off the ground IMO! smile

Thoughts?

Fairly simple and easy to remember tune!

I'm going up to Maccs with a mate, so we'll try and get it going.

That is f***ing quality!!.......We gotta try and get this going at the Brentford game. Could try it at the Macclesfield game but not sure if there will be enough of us there for it to be effective........I need to get me a whistle!! biggrin

Personally, I don't think a game where we need to be on top form in terms of atmosphere is a game where we should be starting new songs.

When we will probably have a load of newbies in the crowd, I think we should just stick to what we know best.

Red Blue Army, Come on the shots, Apache ect. as opposed to songs which have half challenging lyrics! smile

Glad I found this thread - its made me want to go to Rochdale less than 24 hours after "that" performance!

Shame I'm working Saturday and Tuesday... I'll have to wait for Morecambe :o(

I had this stuck in my head all the way home and this morning!

I was watching the videos on my phone and they bought a huge smile to my face, so what if we got tonked on the pitch, last night was great fun and what supporting your team is all about.

Funnily enough, I was watching a game from France involving Marseille and some other team on Setanta earlier and the whole crowd were singing it! Love it!

BOING!

Sounded good today IMO, much better then at the last game, with the snare people are starting to get hang of the tune, and it WILL be big.

Just one suggestion though....

When we sing the WOOOAAHHH part, NO SNARE!

Let the only noise be the clapping from the fans, then on the LA LA LA...part, include the snare.

And no base. confused

Other then that, fantastic biggrin

It is going to take a while to get this one going across the East bank.  Those in the middle probably didn't pick up on it, but there was a really strong anti movement - a few people trying to start songs to drown it out - in the end they succeeded (AL-DER-SHOT, AL-DER-SHOT, and then Come on you Shots)

I think some people must be struggling with the words!

It's not to the tune of Tom Hark.

It'll never catch on.

I think it sounded good and is starting to catch on. Just think it went on a bit too long on Sat which is why people eventually started to sing over it. Also didn't help that Rotheram scored while it was being sung. I also think it sounds better with the drums and I might bring a whistle or horn next week to add to it wink

Guys,

Please ignore the people on Shotsweb who dislike it and continue to use it at matches.

Most in the Eastbank joined in against Rotherham on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed it!

we tried it once, and it was cringe worthy. Saturday sounded awesome, let's stick to that for now.
