Whilst we still provide a great, no, aweosme vocal backing to our team at every home and away game, we can still do much better!!
We're the 12th Man of the team and the backbone of our clubs' passionate support. However, some of us still (at times) forget this!
Whilst it's not mandatory, we ask you politely to concentrate of what's happening on the pitch and get behind the boys from start to finish of each half. Too often people were happy chatting amongst yourselves during the game when others are screaming at the top of their voices to get behind our team.
Chat away all you want before the game, at half time and after the game; but during each half, back the team you love to the full!!
Lol Alex your are a passionate supporter like many others but if you judge people by your own standards you will be bitterly dissapointed my friend. People are free to do what they like whether you or anyone else likes it or not.
I agree with Flagboy there were only a few shots fans (1 being me) trying to get the atmosphere going. To be honest most (not all!) of the RBA were joking between themselves and didn't seem too interested on what was going on in the match!

I thought the RBA was a group of people who wanted to improve the atmosphere at matches and be the "12th man". My point was that with 5 minutes left of the match only a few were singing and trying to encouage the team while alot of people didn't seem to really care!
Normally I do my best to get behind the team, sometimes more than others, depending on what else is going on in my life etc lol...Yesterday I'll admit was one of those days when for some reason the crowd seemed interesting so probably didn't do as much singing etc as normal. Don't get me wrong I did my fair share, but it was just one of those occasions when it's fun to have a bit of banter. I agree that we can get more support going at home games, if everyone started singing instead of chatting then we'd really be able to make some noise but no matter how many times we say this, some days people will and some days people won't, and there's not a lot we can do about it. If it's one of those days when everyone else seems to be chatting and youre the only one interested in the game and giving support it shouldn't matter, just carry on singing your heart out cos every little helps and maybe itll get others around you singing and focused on the game too.
